Course Learning Objectives/Outcomes

By the end of the course, the Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist will be able to:
-Explain behaviors are closely related to the counterphobic mechanisms.
-Explain part of post-traumatic stress disorder that is related to depression.
-Name three assumptions about ourselves that we as a nation have been forced to reconsider.
-Name the two crucial elements of transference to the captor for individuals held hostage by criminal terrorists.
-Explain a client’s condition indicates that there is a clear and imminent danger to the client or others, the certified counselor must do.
