Course Learning Objectives/Outcomes

By the end of the course, the Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist will be able to:
-Discuss five emotional distress from infidelity.
-Discuss four different responses to infdelity.
-Describe five conflicting aspects of the unfaithful partner's response to the disclosure of an affair.
-Explain three ways in which men and women differ in regards an affair is justified.
-Describe five evaluative biases in infidelity.
-Identify four reasons, based upon insecurities, partners may choose to stay in a relationship following an infidelity crisis.
